We also implemented a specific mold that resists that dreaded side sink effect around the temples. Instead of caving in, the front panel maintains its structure, giving the hat a more tailored and balanced look especially when worn with a patch or embroidery.

Let’s talk fabric. We wanted this hat to be huntable. Truly huntable. That meant avoiding any shiny surfaces or loud finishes that could reflect light in the woods or skies. So we leaned into matte materials with natural texture.
The Greenleaf and Original Bottomland versions use 100 percent duck cotton canvas, which holds color well and doesn’t give off any glare. The New Bottomland style is made from a CVC chief value cotton polyester cotton twill blend, which offers added durability while keeping the finish low key and natural.
